Brywood Families!
I would like to welcome everyone to the newly renovated Brywood Elementary! After our year-long adventure at Westwood, it is very exciting to be back at home. Our school now features an Innovation Lab that will foster STEAM initiatives to provide our students with hands-on access to 21st Century learning materials. The lab features robotics, computer programming, creative building materials, and 3D printers to allow students to bring their ideas to fruition. We also have a new Design Lab to enhance our already outstanding science program. Outside the main building is our new Activity Center, which was constructed with our fine arts programs in mind, and will serve as our venue for music and visual art performances, assemblies and other collaborative opportunities.
Throughout the building, we have new furniture designed specifically for learning. These were designed to maximize movement and collaboration with our students. Hallways have been transformed from storage areas to collaborative spaces to facilitate learning. Every surface in the building has been touched and updated. Outdoor space has not been overlooked, as we have a new blacktop playground area.
It is going to be a fantastic year at Brywood! As always, I’m available for anything you may need.
